Mercury Enters Virgo (August 31, 2012)

Hermes skips into his very own...back into earthy realms...so your rather long period of Leo idealism must yield to what is possible...you must turn now to what will work and what you can make real. The visions and dreams of what came in Fire are now tempered and honed, guided and shaped by your critical discernments, and by your life's practical necessities...

Virgo bestows crystal clarity and orderliness to your mind...and this provides a wonderful opportunity to expand your understanding. The first step is greater self-awareness, to calmly examine your own mind and undertake a critical review of how your assumptions, perceptions and awareness of your world reflect what your subsequent experiences have proven to be true or not.

Your mind delights in the particular now, your delight is in the details...and analysis, preciseness and orderliness rule the day.

However, you must use this time wisely, for Mercury will only be here for about two weeks before turning your attentions to Libra's world...then you and your thoughts will have to pivot as you consider and dwell upon the nature of your companionships and your understanding of one another.

North Node into Scorpio (August 29, 2012)

The way ahead is changing...

Your path has shifted...and what will be released within yourself, and what will be revealed to you has moved to a different realm of understanding and unfoldment for the next 18 months or so...What has happened?

The Nodes of the Moon are two opposite points in space, the North Node and the South Node. These two points represent the intersection of two circles, the orbital path of the Moon around the Earth, and the Earth's orbital path around the Sun. It is these two points of intersection, (where the Sun, Earth and Moon line up in the same plane every six months), that creates the experience of the Solar and Lunar Eclipses. Whereas the planets move around the Zodiac in forward motion from Aries to Taurus ending up at Pisces before beginning again in Aries, the nodes move in retrograde or backwards motion, from Aries back to Pisces to Aquarius and so on.

You could say that the Lunar Nodes provide the Karmic pointing of "The Way", the karmic path for any individual's chart. They show you where you are "coming from" or what you are drawing upon from your past, indicated by the South Node or point of Karma...and the North Node indicates what you should be working towards and building into your life, or your Dharma.

If you allow yourself to be overly influenced by your past so that you fall under too much influence from the South Node, you may fail to work towards your Dharma, (you fall back into your familiar but less developed patterns). By working with the lessons brought to you by the North Node or your Dharma, you can draw upon and use the best parts of your past (Karma) while creating better a better future for yourself. You actually bequeath to yourself a better Karma by remaining focused upon your Dharma.

In the present matter of the continuous cycling of the transiting North and South Nodes, you receive guidance from the universe about what you need to understand in order to benefit the most from your Karmic reaping and Dharmic renewing year after year.

So, what does the shift from a Sagittarius North Node to Scorpio mean for you?

The past 18 months of Sagittarius asked you to stay focused upon your Principles, Beliefs and Truths...to consider more deeply how you know what you know. The gift of Gemini (Karma) during such a time would foster that flexible, multi-faceted way of examining your perceptions so that you could work towards a more unified, inclusive and comprehensive vision of your world. This gift from your past would help to create a bridge of understanding between you and any other.

However, if you became too enamored by the past then you would have played the "devil's advocate" just to stir things up, to be contrary just for amusement's sake. Rather than pursuing understanding, you or they would end up creating more divisiveness and contention than was already present...Arguments, debates and shrillness would have had their way. Appeals to reason and reasonableness would have gone a begging. Does that sound familiar?

The next 18 months of Scorpio will reveal another opportunity and challenge for you as you seek to draw upon your Karma from the Taurus South Node while building anew through your path ahead in the Scorpio North Node. The Scorpio North Node asks you to focus upon the need for emotional rebirth that you can and should experience as the fruit of overcoming your separation from one another. How do you do this?

You move into deeper unions through being both true to yourself while you make necessary sacrifices for one another. To do so, you must let go of the lesser "things" in your life, the things that may keep you separate from one another. However, you must always honor the greater values that can and should hold you together, the ones that brought you together, and the ones that hold you to one another...because these are the fundamental values that you share. It is by joining with one another in your union that you can expand, transform and grow...together.

The Taurus South Node is there to remind you about the beauty of lasting value, of having and holding "something" that is, at least for you, eternal or of ever-lasting value...of what you wish to hold to and never let go. However, if you hold too much to your own particular form of value, if you give into your fears of loss and hold to selfish possessiveness, you become bound to and blinded by your own things, and you fail to combine, share and grow through one another.

By doing this, your potential for growth beyond your more limited form of life is not possible. For it is only when two or three or more are joined together, when joined in common cause or purpose, only then do you experience the magic of Union with the beloved...of being more than a one and of becoming much more than you could ever have been by yourself.

You are moving into a deeper time, some would say it is the deepest time...

It is time to work with the Dharma of Scorpio...it is time to grow together...

It is time to reap the best of the Karma of Taurus...it is time to honor the spirit behind the form...

It is time to understand...it is your time to grow...together!

Mars Enters Scorpio (August 23, 2012)

What you really want, what you really need...what you ache for...is Union.

You must seek for it, with deep Desire...

You must act for it, with fervent Passion...

You must be brave, you must be bold...but if you dare...

You will experience the greatest treasure...you will come to what is most profound...

You will be as one, again...in your sacred space, in your Communion with the beloved.

Mars will take you now, into the mystery...beyond the crossing point of "I and Thou", Mars will draw you down, to dive through those swirling subterranean Waters and into your deepest longings...Come, it is time, let Mars take you now into his realm of Scorpio...

You seek nothing less than self-transcendence, to move beyond the isolation of your physical reality, beyond the apparent separation between one and another...Mars will take you now, by passion and desire...as you move beyond your bounded realm to the heart of sacred fires.

You will be able to pass beyond, even for a moment, your "reality" of a separate existence...you will taste, touch and marvel with wonder as you feel the thrilling that courses through you now, as you bow before the awesome majesty...you are humbled, transformed and uplifted by the wondrous magic of being one with one another!

With a reward so great, so too must be your offering, (for the prize could not be greater)...so you must be ready, willing and able to sacrifice what is lesser if you are to create the space for the greater in your life. You must honor and keep what makes you "you", your core values, principles and beliefs, as you let go of the peripherals in your life, the lesser things that would keep you apart from one another...

And, the magic of this moment is...that as you choose between what to hold and what to release, you actually move closer to your true self. You give up what was less consequential in your life and reaffirm the greater...and you do this because you were moving closer to another, but you also and equally drew closer to your Self!

However the greatest challenge, the greatest sacrifice must be accepted and met if you are to co-create your shared sacred space, the space of togetherness, your space of "We". For the greatest challenge to your growth and self-transcendence always lies within you...for it is always waiting, ever holding you back and down...the only thing that stands in your way in your twelve-fold journey...is Fear.

You must understand, face and pass beyond your fears if you are to gain the greater in your life...Each step, each challenge in the wheel of life has a fear that must be met, a shadow that must be illumined if you are to find your way...

The shadow cast by seeking Union is found in what holds you back, in what makes you pause and take half-measures to meet the other in the "we"...You put yourself "out there", into a space of vulnerability and say "won't you join me here?" Yet, you fear the response might not be equal so you only risk so much...you hold back.

You have the fear of Rejection. You fear that you will open the door to the possibility with another and they will turn away...and you will be in the deepest pain for what was never gained. So you hold back, or they hold back and the sacred space cannot be made...what might have been, could have been is all you can take away...

The answer is, "always and always", to face your fear and understand that it is but a shadow from yesterday...It is only pains of what was long ago but must be cast away. So laugh at your fear, break up those shadows, by showing what you have learned...that you are Spirit, you are the ever-becoming...there is nothing that you shall fear.

Mars in Scorpio is said to bring indomitable will and fearlessness. As is true in all spiritual matters, you paradoxically reveal your true strength in Scorpio by placing yourself in a position of vulnerability! That by such grace you show your true spiritual strength and character, that you are willing to take the risk in order to create the possibility of Union. You reveal it all, hold nothing back, and by so doing you have fulfilled your part...you have made your move to create the sacred space of we...and now it rests upon the other to see what there will be...

You have always sought this...and you know, you truly know you need it now...more than ever.

Your heart's desire has always been...to reach and find one priceless treasure, that one special place, where everything makes sense, where all will come together...and when you find it...

You will smile...for all is good, in your place of Peace...in your place of Beauty!

Of course, you know, there is no "place" as such, it is not here or there, it is not around or outside...it comes to you, rising from within as you align your life and move into a Greater Understanding...as you grow, as you serve...

When you live in truth, when what is within and what surrounds you is brought into true accord...then you are "there", where you were always meant to be...

When you do this, you have put yourself upon that noble path...you live as one of the ones, you are at peace within as you move towards a greater gathering too...you walk the path of harmony...you "Live in Beauty"...you share in Beauty.

You have tried to do your best, each and every day...but now you must prepare yourself, you must ascertain what has been and turn to what will be...you sense a turning in the rhythms, a new season is approaching...A Time of Fire must give way to Earth...

Yes, it is there in the early morning mists...in the creeping twilight's shadows too...the energies are shifting...The light is bending further...slanting, shadowed, still gleaming but dimming ever more...and you know, you feel it in your soul...you know you must prepare...

New Moon in Leo (August 17, 2012)

She slips between...she moves into that shadowed space...beyond the crossing point, between Darkness and the Light...she comes back to her beloved, her Brightly-Shining One. She returns to renew and begin again, to mark her sacred duty. For she is the weaver who works her ways within a shimmering web, she gathers the planetary energies, she steps them down so that you might feel them too...but most of all, she will ever return to the source of life and love, and so renew herself as so you do too...

Once again, your dear Luna has come around, between you and the Sun. You look for her, but she is gone...She has come back to her beloved and is lost in that Glory for a time...Yes, it is dark again, there is no light at night, no Moon to reflect upon...So you must have faith, you must be open for a sign. It is your time to pause, it is your time to wait...it is time to give thanks and welcome your chance for a new beginning.

Today, the Moon meets her companion, and in the Sun's own sign...So, it is the gift of Leo, which is offered up for you at this time. Here in the darkest hour, when you cannot find your way, the brightest beacon will be revealed, and darkness will fly away. For Leo asks you nothing less than to become who you are meant to be: that you see yourself, that you Love yourself...and so you laugh as you smile...because you see.

You turn around...you look within, and find an ember there. It is a spark, the same glorious source, from which all of Creation came. It is the Light Divine, pure love of course, that is your one and true, your everlasting source...It lights your Sun, the Stars and Moon and all who accompany thee...

The New Moon of Leo calls to you, to remember from whence you came...To remember and rejoice...for you are a child of great descent whose pathway stretches ever on. You cycle through countless forms, through endless worlds that you have made...For this is your path, your destiny...and you will make your way.

You are a Creator, here to release, reveal and express your Love, to be the Love and to share the Love that you are...for you are That.

Venus Squares Uranus (August 15-16, 2012)

Triptych Teachings - Part Three

This final act in your spiraling Triptych rounds out the lessons of life on the Ides of August...

In this third gift of grace from your Starry Wanderers, you receive a planetary blessing that flows from the alignment of Venus (Love and Beauty) as she dances her way beside Uranus (The Awakener, the Lord of Freedom and Individuality).

The First Triptych lesson, from Venus and Pluto, affirmed the sacred nature of the space that is You. Your center is one with, and inseparable from, the countless sacred centers in all of the spaces of Space. The Boundless All or One is found within and forms the radiant source upon which all sacred centers reside...it is the everlasting light at the core of each and every consciousness.

The Second Triptych lesson, from Mars and Saturn, affirms the Principle of growth that constantly drives the unfoldment of your Reality-Making. Your personal self-realizations are proportional to the self-realizations of your fellow travelers. For each and every one is a co-creator in the journey of Life-Consciousness-Spirit...Truly, it is All for one and One for All!

Now you turn to this your Third Triptych, and the lesson is about the intimate relationship that prevails between Love and Individuality. Venus rules your values, the why, where and how of you and of the beauty in your world. Venus rules the source of all your values, which is the value of you, your Self...That Self is quite simply your spiritual source, your Divine essence or core, which you know and feel as Love. Quite simply, you Love your Self because this kernel or core of you is pure Spirit, is pure Love.

The most essential principle of this value of you is that you are Unique, that you are an Individual. You are a unique spark of the Divine...you are one of the ones of the One. Uranus rules this principle, which is called Selfhood (or Swabhāva), and it is this defining essence that shapes and defines your uniqueness. It is this unique selfhood that forms the source-energy that drives your ever-unfolding journey.

Your Selfhood is the reason for your growth from within outwards and forms and propels the story of your self-realization. For you are here to fulfill your destiny...you become your Self as you unfold your potential and take your place as a one of the countless voices who will each add their own voice to the Song of Creation.

It is through Venus that you connect to your beloved by those values that you share...You come together and form your relationship upon a bedrock of values that you find meaningful, pleasing and wish to experience with and through one another. By this sharing and love for one another, you reconnect and reaffirm your source-love which is that eternal love of your Higher Self...and which you now see reflected back to you through the eyes of your beloved...for it is there that you experience the very same love that pours forth from the center of Creation.

What Uranus reminds and reveals to Venus today is that what draws you to one another yesterday, today and tomorrow, is that very principle at the heart of your value, your unique essence, your Selfhood, your Swabhāva. It is that which you see, acknowledge and love in one another, this unique beingness...you remember this feeling, you know this energy...and you smile.

For you have met before, and will meet again...and it is how you know, how you truly know that you have found one another yet again...because there is that something...that essential essence of uniqueness that distinguishes and defines who you are and who they are...and you love one another for exactly That!

Uranus reminds Venus that to be Loved you must release your Self, your true ever-unfolding essential being, your Radiant Ray. And that this will also bring you back, again and again, to your companions and comrades, to your friends and loved ones, and to your beloved...who love you as you love them...because you love one another for being exactly what you are becoming...

You are the becoming...

You are the Radiant Splendor...

You are one of the ones of the One.

So be it!

Triptych Teachings - Part Two

Later on Wednesday, part two of your Triptych lesson unfolds...And it is truly a timely gift from your planetary companions!

Mars, ruling Desire and Action, takes about two years to complete its circuit of the Solar System and will come back to Saturn, the Ruler of Form and Reality, in this their Conjunction, which is like a New Moon, in just over two years. Their alignment heralds a New Beginning in the cycle that governs your efforts to realize your desires by forming them, pouring and shaping them into your Reality Structure.

The typical interpretation of Mars with Saturn is full of warnings about frustration, anger and accidents...really?! This is a powerful conjunction but the misuse of their combined energies lies not with Mars or Saturn, but with a lack of understanding about the way in which energy and matter combine together to form your universe.

You move outward, through and by your desires (Mars), you move outward to fulfill yourself and your dreams. To do so, you act within the world of form (Saturn), shaping it into some semblance of what you imagined your world should be. You pour yourself into forms and thereby both realize but at the same time limit yourself into those very forms...you fulfill yourself, yet it can only last so long. For you are continuously developing yourself from within outwards, and the world around you is constantly changing as well...so the forms you made becomes less and less relevant as you and everyone else continue to grow.

The Conjunction of Mars and Saturn heralds the moment in which you begin a new cycle of Desire and Form, of Action and Accomplishment. You need to release yourself from the no longer adequate, those older forms of self-realization. Mars and Saturn join to light the way so that you may move to create new forms of growth, new forms of self-manifestation. Their conjunction forms a beacon to inspire you to create a better reality for the world you wish to move through.

This process is often hard and not without pain. Why? Because you have become attached to the familiar, you are habituated to the old forms, to your old ways and means...In order to grow, you must let go...but you often resist and so bring about the very pain and suffering that many associate with this aspect.

This need not be your "fate"...You always have a choice. You can always find a better way...and you will find that way through understanding. This path of greater understanding is shown to you now by the Space where Mars and Saturn meet with one another...and that Space is found in the way of Libra.

This year, Mars and Saturn align, like one Star, in the sign of Libra. Their message is simple yet profound: Desire and Action (Mars), Form and Reality (Saturn) must be guided, formed and so fulfilled through mutually agreed upon principles and values that you share with your fellow travelers, your trusted companions, your comrades in arms.

The Truth of Mars meeting Saturn in Libra is that your self-realizations, the meeting of your heart's desire, can only be met, can only be accomplished with the cooperation and/or participation with many, many others. Your self-fulfillment depends upon these others, as your self-realization becomes a means to create their fulfillment too...For only together can you make your way back to the source, back to your home in the stars...

You are part of a glorious, shining host of spirit seeking to become ever more fulfilled, ever more resplendent...Always and forever, you unfold your potentials for yourself and for one another too...today you begin anew...again.

Venus Opposite Pluto (August 15, 2012)

Triptych Teachings - Part One

Okay...you had better take a deep breath...no deeper! Today and tomorrow, you encounter another triple alignment; three inter-linked lessons of life from the cosmos served up and delivered to you!

First, there is Venus opposite Pluto, then later today Mars conjuncts Saturn and finally late Wednesday into Thursday Venus squares Uranus...Wow!

When "personal" planets like Venus or Mars make "hard" encounters with outer planets, there is a presiding belief that it just will not go well. But, what you need to know is that these alignments are just forms of energy that are meeting up with one another, they combine and transform one another...and that you, being part of this marvelous cosmos will be transformed too.

For everything in the Universe is conscious, every part of the universe is a consciousness that is unfolding and developing. That growth, that development takes place as each consciousness unfolds its potential from within itself and encounters, combines and is transformed through the relationships it has with other all the other forms of consciousness that travel with it. This Journey of Spirit, seeking to know itself, is a wondrous, shining and ever-unfolding, ever-evolving host of countless minds...it is the radiant spiral of Life-Consciousness-Spirit within the one great mind of Spirit.

The question really, each and every day, is: Are you ready to unfold and become, to grow? Truly, the question is: Do you understand your journey? For there are no good or bad planets, no good or bad aspects...There is growth (through Faith and Understanding) and less growth (through Fear and Ignorance). That's it!

For as you face it, as you believe it...so shall it be for you. You must choose, (and the great good news is) you can choose the life you wish to create, the life you wish to live...for you are the dreamer dreaming Creation.

The first encounter on Wednesday is profound, that is certainly true. Venus rules what you hold most dear, your value of you...your love. Pluto, the Lord of Will and Transformation, the Creator and Protector of Sacred Space will bring to bear his Will upon Venus today...

For Love depends upon this, it depends upon the Sacredness of your Space, the space that you call "you"... To be you, you create a space that is integral, whole and true. But the truth of it is, (and how else could it be?)...so is every other space, all the spaces of space that surround you too...they are all sacred centers, each having a consciousness center at its core. Each and every evolving consciousness develops within its space formed by Will, protected and made a Holy Conscious Space, for each contains a spark of the Divine and is a sacred, conscious container of Spirit...a container of Love.

The Opposition of Pluto to Venus illustrates this Principle: that one must regard all of space as Sacred. Each center of consciousness exists in Spatial Sacredness and each must have some form of Will to create such space...But, and here it does get challenging, each consciousness center must be careful to not misuse that willpower, for to do so would be to trespass upon the space of another.

That is often what you encounter when you or another is less aware of this principle, of this fundamental truth. You meet another who, perhaps for the best of intentions, wishes to change you, make you into something, perhaps to make you "better", make you love them or whatever. Likewise, this is what you may stumble into when you try to change another against their will too...and when they or you do this, you fall into error...you misuse your willpower, you fall...why? You fall because of your Fear.

You fear that if you do not control it or them, you will lose...and by trying to control them, by trespassing upon their sacred space, you do lose...you lose yourself, (only for a time, but you might lose them, that relationship, too).

The Venus/Pluto lesson here is the lesson of Boundaries and Self-Control...the right and proper exercise of your will follows from the right and proper relationship you have with yourself. That right relationship with your Self is found by you as you secure your unconditional love for yourself, the love which emanates, flows and embraces you and which comes from within, from your Higher Self.

Your Love is bestowed by, is the essence of, the Spirit which is at the core of you...it is You. Having this true self-love, possessing this, you are complete in yourself, free yet circumscribed by the understanding that each being around is just like you too. You are then free to love another without the false need (from fear) of wanting to control or "own" them...You are Loving, you are Free and you can meet them in a shared sacred space of freedom too!

But Venus and Pluto are not the only movers of today...there are two more panels, two more dances in your Triptych Teachings to understand...So, let us see what Mars and Saturn have brought your way...

 

Venus Trine Neptune (August 9, 2012)

Venus is swimming, splashing through those caring, embracing and nurturing waters of Cancer...and so you remember, you re-affirm and reconnect to your source, to your value of you, to your personal memories, to what is true for you and your love...

Today Venus receives a loving caress as Neptune draws you into her Piscean Seas...You pass through the appearances of reality, beyond the veils and into her mysterious, dreaming oceanic depths...where all are met and found as one...

Today Venus, through which you value yourself and love the other, who rules your personal affections, the home of your beating heart of love, today you with Venus go beyond and through, as your soul is drawn up into the Trans-Personal way...because today you are touched by the Lord of Universal Love...

Today, through Neptune, you can feel the connection between I and Thou as being more than just happenstance or fortune...you realize that it is your destiny, your karma that has built this bridge, this sympathy of understanding, of soul to soul, of heart to heart...

For the great illusion is Separation...

Your Shining Truth, felt so strong today...

Is all are One...as all are Loved as ones of the One...

Each one by love reflects this Great Love...this Unconditional Joy...

That keeps each and every on the path, reaching upwards, towards the Light...

So that each will find their own true way...

By love, through love...
