Gemini           Awareness of Awareness - “I am That, I am”

The Zodiac is the Twelve-Fold manifestation of Spirit, and is also known in the Ancient Wisdom as the Circle of the Living Ones. For these twelve are the fundamental articulations of the One Spirit, which together form the Warp and Weave of this Universe.

The interplay of their twelve Songs of Spirit combines integrally to form the Song of Life. These songs sweep through numberless realms, through the Orders of Inner and Outer Planes or Dimensions, forming a spiraling rhythmic progression of Hierarchies stretching below and above, so that the entire Cosmos is filled with these Twelve-Fold Energy-Forms, which in their entirety are the Life-Consciousness-Spirit of the One. All entities, from the smallest atoms on up to the grandest cosmic groupings of Galaxies, all of these Energy-Forms are the body of the One in motion…all are Divine sparks of Light, of the One, which holds them to one another and thereby unto itself by the force you know as Love.

Equally, this movement of Spirt through Forms and Time is also the story of, it is the journey and self-realization of Consciousness too. From the barest glimmer of awareness to the supernal realms of beings endowed with Cosmic Consciousness, all the Light-Forms of this Cosmos are also slowly lifting themselves and one another up to higher and more encompassing realms of Understanding.

Today you move once more into the Realm of Gemini, today you cross again the Portal of Self-Awareness. To be aware that you are aware, to know that you are a knowing creature, to be endowed with this awesome and yet most humbling Light of Self-Reflectivity, this is the great step that has brought you that much closer to your Spiritual Destiny, for you are here to be a Self-Conscious Co-Creator of this Creation.

It has been passed down in the teachings, that in the Age of Gemini, eons and ages ago, the Lamp of Understanding was lit for those humans in formation then by their elder brothers and sisters, by those who are known as the Kumaras, who came to bestow this blessing. For this they are also known as the Light-Bearers, they are the brightly shining ones who walked amongst us…they were the Prometheans, who gave of themselves so that we might move into the greater Light of Understanding too.

Now, and for all the times to come, it is on each of us, in each and every life, to be this lamp of light to those with whom we travel. The striving for your greater awareness and of your fellow travelers depends upon this. Each one of us is like a small lamp in the darkness, shining a light, your particular point of view that forms your awareness of the Greater Reality…but, of course, it is very limited. For as we shine our light upon the matter at hand, we will also, inevitably, create a shadow as well. We see, but through a glass darkly and so partially…

It is by combining our awareness, joining our lights together, by comparing, contrasting and blending that we can transform and make more complete our understanding and theirs. Our differing perspectives form different beams of light that serve to reduce and will someday remove all these ancient shadows from our sight.

This is how we will lift one another closer to the One Light of Truth. It is in the nature of Gemini to question, to be contrary, to look at things this way, and then that way, and then yet another way…This is the Way, it is part of the Path towards Perfection, it is the Way of Intelligence.

This Energy-Form of Gemini is found in all things, and in you. It is not just some day or month…it is always and forever present.

You are here to grow, to challenge your assumptions as well as the assumptions of others.

You are human, and you were awakened…long, long ago.

Walk through the Portal of Gemini, each and every day…

Look with wonder upon your world…

Look to and Love one another…

Question…Everything.

Full Moon in Scorpio - The Buddha Moon (May 3, 2015)

The Way of Truth,

Your Path of Wisdom.

And, there is but one injunction…

In world after world,

Through form after form,

There is only this journey,

And so you must,

“Walk on”.

 

But you will never walk alone,

For you are formed by, move through and

Are in Truth a sparkling dew drop of the One Light.

This Universe is a spiraling, sparkling River of Life, and

The whole Cosmos is composed of countless self-unfolding centers of awareness,

Who are the body in Space-Time of the One.

Stars in formation, your Diamond Bodies are inspired, guided and loved by,

Those who came this way before…long, long ago.

For stretching out behind and before, and beyond your knowing,

There is only the One Reality, there is only Life-Consciousness-Spirit,

Revealed in this Self-luminous Hierarchy of Light and Love.

 

The Watchers will wait for you,

For that special sparkling ray,

The dawn of your understanding.

They will wait patiently and faithfully, for they know,

That you too will one day awaken…

It is your Destiny.

You will Know, and you will Understand…

And just so, like them, you will turn.

You will smile to those who follow, and

You will extend a helping hand.

 

These are the Keepers of the Flame, and

They will ever send their emissaries,

Many you know, most you do not, for they are,

The Teachers, the Wise Ones…the helpers,

Who in every world and life,

Lift the Veil and reveal the Wonder of this Cosmos.

They remind you, again and again,

That there is but one Life,

There is but one Spirit,

And all of this, and all of you,

Are here because of Love.

 

In this vast hierarchy of Light and Love,

Among all the countless beings who have come this way before,

Today we celebrate and honor one of our “own”.

For today is the Day of the Buddha, the Self-Awakened One.

 

Why is the Buddha special?

Why?...Because he was the first.

He is the first of our kind to complete the task,

He is the Self-Awakened, a freed monad…a Jivanmukta.

He is the one who came before.

 

He stands now, at the portal of self-transcendence,

And will wait for each of you to make your way.

For this is the Great Sacrifice, this is true love.

He waits for you to be fully human,

He waits for you,

To be the Self-Awakened too.

 

Today is the Full Moon in the time of Taurus, it is the Full Moon of Scorpio. All around the world there will be celebrations and ceremonies, for this is the festival known as Wesak, this is the Full Moon of the Buddha.

The story we are told is that Siddhārtha was born at, achieved enlightenment during, and finally left his mortal frame during such a full moon as tonight’s. Today, Seers, Teachers and Students will bow their heads and give thanks and praise to he who was the first to lift himself out of spiritual bondage, to become Self-Awakened, to become the first truly Self-fulfilled human.

The Spiritual meaning articulated by any Full Moon concerns the integral Truths formed by two Astrology Signs, one for the Sun the other for the Moon. No Sign can be truly experienced in isolation from any other, they all form resonances with one another, creating a complex web of life and meaning.

We find ourselves now in the time of Taurus, and it is the most earthy or materializing moment in the Zodiac, the Circle of the Living Ones. Though you are an Immortal, you will move from World to World, from Form to Form, and in Life after Life through mortal frames. As you move into these realms of the material, you are able to learn and so to master yourself and your powers of creation. But you may also become too enamored of or attached to any one form…

And so you must equally learn that in order for you to “walk on”, you must equally strive to “let go…and grow”. This is a fundamental part of the teaching that the Buddha offers, that there is nothing permanent or “lasting” in these material realms, they are all composites, held together ultimately by the Intelligence, Love and Will that resides at the heart of every mote and speck of this Universe. It is that Spiritual Core or Essence which moves from World to World, through Life after Life. The vehicles or bodies must be free also to evolve into new forms, just as their Spiritual Centers likewise grow into the greater splendor…So that each, the Spiritual Heart and the Material Body can be re-formed again and again into ever more meaningful forms of spiritual self-realization.

This is what you need to consider today, that you are an Immortal in a Mortal frame, and that you are to move through these temporal realms with ever greater Intelligence, Love and Will. You must hold; and You must let go. You breathe in; You breathe out. You learn to love and cherish the forms in which you abide, to love and protect yourselves and your beautiful world too…but you are here to grow, so you must also release these wondrous forms and move into ever more sublime realms, forever and ever.

Today, tonight you should consider this Divine journey of Life-Consciousness-Spirit, and join with many, many souls and recite, as will many fellow seekers and aspirants, masters and chelas, what is known as the Great Invocation:

 

THE GREAT INVOCATION

From the point of light within the Mind of God

Let Light stream forth into our minds

Let LIGHT descend on Earth.

From the point of love within the Heart of God

Let Love stream forth into our hearts

May LOVE increase on Earth.

From the center where the Will of God is known

Let purpose guide our wills

The PURPOSE which the masters know and serve.

From the center which we call Humanity

Let the Plan of Love and Light work out

And may it seal the door

where evil dwells.

Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth.
