Sun Enters Libra - The Equinox (September 22, 2016)

The Way of We

You are the Self-That-Is-Becoming,
A precious Spark of the One Divine Flame.
Your Journey, your Awakening,
Is formed and forged by those with whom you travel
For as much as you are a very special “one” indeed, 
You are truly formed by all these other special ones too.

The Hierarchy that is Life-Consciousness-Spirit is the same,
From the infinitesimals to the Galactic Lords and beyond.
All have been made by one another; and all are held together in the One.
From the beginning, and as we greet one another again and again,
Your journey is this story of the ONE made by the many ones,
Singing their Songs of Togetherness, making their way back home.

The Circle of the Living Ones, what you know as the Signs of the Zodiac, 
Holds and forms the Twelve-Fold Archetypal energies playing through Creation.
And though every sign and energy-form are forever-present and active
In you and throughout all of this Creation too,
It is wise to listen to the intimations of Spirit, to listen when the Winds of Spirit call.
It is Time now to Consider the Sacred Space I and Thou, 
To cross that mysterious Portal that is Libra,
To move into that space you create together, the Sacred Space of We.

For every speck and mote of this Creation, every being, world and Galactic System has at its core a spark of the one Divine Flame. And this core of Light and Love anchors the Sacred Space within which that being abides. That by this Sacred Center of Love-Light every Life-Consciousness-Spirit finds their own center and yet equally their essential connection to one another too. For what abides in that center of one and all is the silver chord of connection to the One Divine Light. Truly we are inseparable, because of our origin in the One, and through all our many Lives and Loves we are held together by the One.

Yet you are “separate” too, and you will encounter one another in your journey, time and time again, you in your space and they in theirs. You must not trespass upon them, nor they upon you. But you will find that you must come together in some way so as to form your experiences of one another, and by this you will shape and form one another too. This Dance of Spirit, where you will play and learn, where you will strive to be for you and for them too, where you will grow beyond yourself and become what you are meant to be, this is that sacred space of We, this is the sacred realm of Libra.

It is here in the shared spaces of Libra that you will create, share, love and grow…together. You will elicit from one another a greater understanding of yourself and of your world as you compare, contrast and combine your perceptions and sensibilities, match and meet your needs through one another and fulfill your hopes and dreams of one another by abiding by the sacred principle that governs all relationship in this universe.

This is Truth: Whatever, whomever you encounter in this space of We is another just like you. In fact, in their heart of hearts they are already of you and you are of them. This law, founded by your origin in and of the One, and bound together by your sacred center that is a spark of this One, means that before me is another sparkling dew-drop of the one Divine Light. To bring about or cause harm to this or any other is to irrevocably do equal harm to myself. This is The Law of Karma, whatever you create, whatever action, feeling or thought you make will return to you. Thus follows the injunction of relationship found in all the sacred teachings:

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
For you are all related, and what you do to the least of these,
You do unto me, The One.

Be guided by the Principle of Libra, be guided by the Truth of Love.
For you are of the One, and your Heart is pure Love.
To the one who is before you,
To the One that is always within,
Bow you head, lift your heart
Speak the Truth, Be your Truth,
Namaste.

Saturn Square Neptune (September 10, 2016)

The prevailing major aspect of this past year has been this waning square of Saturn to Neptune. Their first square in this cycle was in November 2015, the second in June of 2016, and the final square will be on September 10, 2016.

When we are considering these outer planet alignments, one should certainly look at the entire period of their exact aspects, as well as somewhat before until some while after, as being inclusive of their particular energy-form/message for you. The whole period from September/October 2015 through October 2016 can be characterized by this alignment of the planet of Form/Reality (Saturn) and Dream/Illusion (Neptune).

Moreover, it is equally important to consider their entire relationship or cycle, typically examined from Conjunction to Conjunction, to understand the broader message offered through the Four major phases of any planetary pair. For this particular planetary relationship, that would mean that the meaning and messages of this cycle were initiated in 1989 at the Conjunction; they reached a critical turning or pivot point at the waxing Square in 1998; they arrived at the climax of their cycle in the Opposition of revelation/confrontation of 2006-07; to finally meet in this moment of Crisis/Opportunity of the waning Square in 2015-16. (Saturn and Neptune will inaugurate a new cycle of relationship at their next Conjunction in 2026).

With regards to this particular cycle (or any cycle for that matter), we can see its influence on the many dimensions of our existence, the various physical, emotional, mental and spiritual planes. The cycle of Saturn and Neptune concerns the integral relationship between the establishment of Reality and Order (Saturn) and its formational correspondence with Dreams and Imagination (Neptune). When fused with right understanding, it is how we imagine a better/greater reality and then proceed to bring it into actual manifestation. When either element is misconstrued or approached with anxiety, doubt or fear then we will see the regression of these potentials as evidenced by a clinging to old and outworn forms supported by falsely framed fantasies or delusions, often resulting in a divorce of Reality and Imagination. Rather than a reasonable and strong correspondence between Dreaming and Making, there occurs a descent into a world of “smoke and mirrors”, the result often being a dystopian world of Delusion, Deception and Victimization.

Throughout the series of Saturn/Neptune alignments, one can discern the rhythmic waves of New Dreams becoming New Realities, those Realities becoming ever more Crystallized, leading to eventual Disillusionments with that Reality, which produces increasing degrees of Confusion and Misunderstanding…and this loss of faith and confusion actually prepares the way for the New Illuminations/Dreams that will be eventually be formed into New, and we can hope, better Realities.

Thus, the road to Illumination, to the Greater Understanding and Reality in which you journey, is paved with this rhythmic pulsing of Dreams to Reality to Crystallization to Confusion (which creates the conditions for letting go of that more limited Reality Paradigm), leading to Inspirations and a New Dream-Reality brought into being. The journey from unself-conscious spark of the Divine to fully awakened co-Creator of Creation is this spiral path of Dreaming-Reality that has no “beginning” and no “end”.

The Conjunctions of the last century (1917, 1952-53, 1989), correspond quite remarkably for instance with the birth of the USSR, the onset of the Cold War, and the dissolution of the USSR, (and of communist states of Eastern Europe). Moreover, the intervening beats of their cycle, waxing square-opposition-waning square, also can provide insight into the underlying influences and lessons of these and other historical developments. 

But this is merely one example, a particular manifestation of this energy-form articulated within the realm of political/social realities. What is most important is to understand that this cycle is one of the key planetary pairs helping to drive the emergence of the Greater Awareness and a more fulfilling Reality for you.

For this particular cycle and your experience within it we should consider the 1989 Conjunction as the seeding of a New Paradigm of Dream/Reality for Earth. For any one person, this might be the start of a new life or phase of life, and for a community or culture it would more broadly define the hope for the future and the beginnings of the structures to bring that into being. What and how the previous cycle ended gives birth to the New, both in terms of Dreams and Hopes, but limitations and fear as well.

The first or waxing Square of 1998-99 would be a crossroads, a pivot point, a choice requiring a commitment to a definite Dream/Reality structure and the turning away from and letting go of any other. Here is where the new Dream/Reality encounters its first “test”. If for an individual or society there is an alignment or correspondence of dream to reality, we would see a re-dedication of purpose and focus to expand that Dream-Reality. If this turning entailed greater dissonance or disappointment, it would be an opportunity to adjust the trajectory and substance of this unfolding Dream-Reality, perhaps choosing a different Dream or formation of Reality.

The opposition of 2006-07 would be the moment of revelation, where the inherent truth or falsehood of this particular cycle would be encountered. For various individuals and groups, it is a moment of triumph and fulfillment…the Dream has come True. For others however it could be a shattering moment filled with disappointments and defeat. What has been revealed is either the unbridgeable gap between the promises and the results, between the Dream and Reality, and/or the realization that the Dream itself was Illusionary or a False-Hope, that it was founded upon Delusion, Deception and most certainly Self-Deception.

Here is where the Individual and the society would face their greatest test and opportunity. For as much as this Opposition is an “Ending”, it also marks the beginning of the second half of the Cycle, and so a new chance to apply the lessons learned, to adjust the Dream and Reality, and bring about a redemption in the second half of the cycle.

The final major turning point of any cycle is the waning Square which can be a moment of even further growth in understanding and consciousness, a reconciliation and resolution of the triumphs and tragedies of the oppositional phase. Yet it may equally contain or be pervaded by a sense of crisis and despair as the yawning gap between Dream and Reality seems unbridgeable, and hopes and dreams are seemingly beyond reach at this time.

So we find ourselves now at this moment of choice, but you need to understand that a Waning Square is not like Waxing Square, that the type of choice for 2015-16 is not the same as 1998-9. The Waxing Square is much more of outward, physical choice between forms and paths that you will take as you attempt to fulfill your Dream-Reality making. A Waning Square like 2015-16 is much more of an “inner choice”, it is a pivot-point in Consciousness, a challenge to make a better choice about how you see yourself and your world-view, to compare and contrast the differing assumptions about the Reality you are in (and have helped to make). It is more a time of “letting go” of the old, outworn assumptions that got you to here (Reality), but cannot get you to there (Your Dream).

You have been offered this period to see which of your Principles, Beliefs and Sciences or Truths have (and still do) serve you well in explaining your experience and guiding your intentions/actions. Equally, this Waning Square calls upon you to see to what extent your Beliefs/Truths correspond with those with whom you journey. For within any group, sub-culture and society, there will many Truths held in common, but also many that only correspond to some portion of this. To discern Truth from Fiction, Illumination from Illusion, well that is what you are here for!

If there is no over-arching agreement as to the nature of “Reality”, if different groups align with varying interpretations of what is “Scientific”, or what is “Truth”, well then they will certainly be unable to find a common definition of “Reality”. They will also be unable to agree on what are the “right-actions” to live within that Reality, and certainly not agree as to how to move towards a better or more inclusive Reality/Belief paradigm.

This Spiral Journey of Understanding, of weaving together the Greater Reality around oneself with the mental/spiritual mapping-mirroring of one’s own Thought-Forms of Beliefs/Truths, well that is your never-ending journey of Consciousness indeed. Slowly Humans are moving up and outwards from unself-consciousness to fully awakened conscious co-creators of this Creation. Time and time again, the Belief/Paradigm of a group, society and culture, which served to guide and inform their lives for a time, will eventually begin to breakdown and ultimately fall apart as Reality changes and/or Thought-forms evolve. Sometimes these shifts are gradual and even easy; sometimes they are not and the breaking apart and reformation of the Reality/Belief system is fraught with confusion, discord and disillusionment.

Here in 2015-16, as indicated by the Saturn/Neptune Square, we are most certainly experiencing a rather strong crisis in our Reality/Belief paradigm. Personally, socially, nationally and internationally this division between Truth and Falsehood, between Dreams and Illusions is omnipresent, and it seems that we are unable to find those common threads to bind together our hearts and minds with one another. The radical fracturing of both left and right politically, the discords between Faith and Reason, the incessant stream of information devoid of context or grounding in common understanding, has led many individuals and groups to stumble into confusion, disillusionment and despair.

Where, where can one look for some center that can hold us together in the Greater Truth that we are on this Circuitous Journey of Awakening together? How can we understand that this experience right now is something we have met and mastered time and time again…and so we should have a heart-felt faith that we will find “The Way” once again? 

The answer to your prayer for both a better Understanding and a Greater Reality is to remember that we each need to harken to the “still, quiet, calming” voice of our Higher Self who is always there to remind us of who and what we are, so that we find inspiration in our fundamental essence, our Loving Nature. That we will understand that whoever or whomever is before us is another just like us. We need one another to help remove our misunderstandings, doubts and fears. We need to listen to one another, explain to one another, compare and contrast for one another and so shine a more inclusive light for one another…To be a light for one another so that we can see what we alone could not see.  

Yet equally, to help lift our hearts and minds, we should follow the integral pathway of Wisdom, which blends your inner voice (and the intimations of others), but seeks to align these whispers of wisdom with the great examples and Wisdom-Teachings that have stood the test of time. For what you are faced with has been encountered time and time again. Innumerable souls and cultures have faced these tests of Truth/Reality and resolved to lift their Hearts and Minds out of shadows and into the Light. There are truths...and then there are Truths. Some idea-forms will hold for a time...and some, well some are Timeless. Seek for Wisdom within and without...and you will know it when they are the same.

Listen to your Heart...

Jupiter Enters Libra (September 9, 2016)

The journey of Jupiter around your star takes about 12 years, and as a result Jupiter will usually move through one sign per year. But like everything in this Universe, uniqueness and individuality are at the core of each entity, for at the heart of every speck and mote of this Universe there is the Spark of the Divine. So all planetary orbits are not circles but ellipses, and as the planet moves around the Sun it will “speed up” or slow down” depending upon how close or far away it is from the Sun.

Jupiter entered Virgo on August 11, 2015 and will now move through Libra until October 10, 2017. Jupiter is the Avatar of Truth, the representative of Philosophy, Science and Religion for you. It rules your Understanding, it is the shaper of your Beliefs and the source of your Motivations.

By looking at Jupiter in your own chart, (or that of anyone else), you can discern the principle determinants of the Why, How and What it is that you believe, of what drives you to relate to your world through definite assumptions of what is “right” and what is “wrong”, of what is the good and what it means to do good.

As Jupiter changes sign year after year, it provides a refinement for that year in the context of meaningfulness for everyone. Though you will principally be shaped by the position of Jupiter in your own chart, (and by the aspects it has with the other planets in your chart), Jupiter’s Journey is part of your Journey in Spirt, of moving into the Greater Awareness, and so you need this experience of the varying sensibilities offered by Jupiter through each of the Twelve Signs.

For the last year your seeking for Truth, Meaning and Motivation was guided by Jupiter in Virgo. The “Meaning of Life” for Virgo is to create a life that makes sense, to live in a world of order wherein each part of life is in balance with every other part. The “good life” is a life of Grace and Ease, it is Refined, Elegant and Meaningful in all ways. The motivation for the Virgo part of you is to create a life of dynamic harmony, or as the ancient wisdom states, the key to being at Peace is quite simply and profoundly “To Live in Beauty”.

Jupiter in Virgo was an opportunity to re-organize your beliefs and life so to create a better correspondence between inner meaning and outer ordering. To have all the facets of your life, private time/public time, work/play, rest/activity, to have them all be in balanced proportionality to one another. To live with Grace and Harmony, to Live in Beauty. By finding the better way to believe, you were able to form a better life outwardly too.

If this passage of Jupiter were to be experienced in a more challenging or negative way, then Jupiter in Virgo would have led to greater criticism and fault-finding, for oneself and/or directed at others. The littlest annoyances or troubles would have blown out of proportion, and the Virgo time of healing would have instead fostered greater discord, creating even less harmony within and around oneself.

Jupiter in Libra will now bring the focus of Meaningfulness into the realm of Relationships. Jupiter rules your motivations, and in Libra there is most certainly an opportunity for an elevation and expansion of your conduct towards one another. Fundamentally, as always, the Truths to guide your way will always come from within, from your Higher Self...from your Heart. They are equally to be found in the Ancient Wisdom, and from this Sacred Source these truths have flowed out and been incorporated into all Religions and Moral Philosophies.

From your heart, and by these teachings, you are reminded that each one of you is part of the one Great Life of the One. How you conduct yourself towards any other will be reflected/redirected back upon you with regards to how others will conduct themselves towards you. In essence, the Law of Karma is perfect and just, and so you are guided by love to follow the Golden Rule, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”.

This is “the Way”, for you live in a fundamentally moral universe and there is nothing that will escape this perfect alignment governing all relationships…so that how you give, and what you give will be returned to you some day.

Jupiter in Libra is a reminder, that you are here to be kind to one another, to be generous to one another, to be mindful of one another…and by these Right Motivations, Right Thoughts and Right Actions you will eventually find yourself where you have always been destined to be. You will make your way Home on the path of Peace; You will live your life in the way of Truth; You will find yourself by the Wisdom of Love.
