The Pathway to Fulfillment

What drives the unfoldment of the Cosmos? What force or power beats in your heart and soul, and indeed in the very Heart and Soul of the Universe? Why do we strive to climb higher, to do better, to be better, to reach for the stars?

There is in every mote and particle of the Universe, in every creature great and small, a source of Light and Love. It is quite simply and most profoundly the Spark of the Divine. The Mind, Love and Will of the One Spirit is the Primal Cause of one and all. For this very reason, the entire Universe, and every-being, and indeed “every-thing” too is endowed with some form of consciousness…The whole of the Universe is alive and awake, from the smallest of infinitesimals, to atoms and molecules, to life-forms on up and beyond to the stars. All of it is part of the One Life, the One Mind, the One Spirit. Quite simply and profoundly all of what is “that” is the One. That is why the whole of Creation is Conscious.

Creation is the journey of Spiritual Consciousness through energy-forms that are formed and informed by the Love of the One for one and for all.

Yet, as each spark is of the One, each monad, each and every “one”, is a unique or individual expression of the Divine. Contained and formed into that monad is what I call the “Quintessence” of that particle of spirit, and it is this particular dewdrop of spiritual quintessence that makes you the very special one that you are.

Through a series of forms living in innumerable lives, each spark of the Divine will reach at some point the realm of Self-Aware Consciousness, one of which is our Human Kingdom. At this crossing point between the darkness and the light, the unfoldment of the Divine potential will become ever more insistent, forged through an increasingly self-determined consciousness, and from this the various mortal energy-forms and bodies will equally become more subtle and perfected vehicles for spiritual fulfillment.

In the “lower kingdoms” of Life-Spirit-Consciousness, where the lamp of self-consciousness is unlit, the unfoldment of spiritual potentialities is driven by more unconscious and “natural” harmonies formed by atomic, molecular and biologic cycles and patterns. When the light of Self-Aware consciousness becomes awakened, the pathway of unfoldment becomes steeper, for it is then that the hard-won lifting of self is forged through the great challenge of learning by trial and error, of learning what to do (and what not to do), so that you bend your life increasingly to what is true and beautiful and loving.

Yes, you have crossed a major threshold on the path of Spirit. You have become responsible for your development. But equally and most importantly, for you are made by and for one another, you are responsible for the development of one another too. You could not be human without all those fellow travelers with whom you journey.

For you and for all your fellow humans, you will strive through many, many lives to forge a better you and a better world for one another. As you redeem your past, you will forge your present and equally shape your future lives too. All of this is determined by the great Universal Law of Justice, the Law of Karma, of cause and effect. You are all equal under this law which is immutable and impartial; each for yourself as you equally serve one another, you forge the Path to one another’s Self-Fulfillment by the divine law, ”that whatsoever you have sown, so shall you reap”.

This is what we celebrate now in this time of Capricorn. This is the realm of Destiny, and you should bow your head and bend the knee wherever Capricorn is found in your chart. It is here that you experience the joyful Tests of Responsibility; it is here that the truth you encountered in Sagittarius must be incorporated into the substance of your life.

You are not here merely to discover, to ponder and consider what is true; You are here to be that Truth, so that it forms your motivations and intentions. Then, by Right Thinking and Right Action, this “Truth lived as Life” will become the very character of your being and the luminous substance of your destiny.

Here at the Solstice of Capricorn, you pause and consider the long and winding road that is the “Pathway of Perfection”. You understand that it is the precious “gift of choice” that will lead to your eventual illumination and apotheosis. The innumerable tests, triumphs and errors in life after life, both your achievements and your stumbles, all your corrections and attempts to do better are precisely the means by which you learn what not to do as you forge a better you.

You are responsible for what you are today; you are what you are because that spark of the divine would not give up, and you shouldered the responsibility for who you are and what you will become. This is why you are here:

You are here on Earth for self-mastery;
you are here for Self-Fulfillment;
you are here because you are one of the ones of the One.

It is in Capricorn that you assume your rightful place in the great Hierarchy of Compassion. For none of us would be here without the inspiration, guidance and support of those who ages ago extended their loving support to lift themselves and one another up. That Ribbon of Light and Love, extending back into the mists of time, and equally arching out ahead into the future, is the promise kept by the Keepers of the Flame, the Masters of the Light and Love, who show that the way to Self-Fulfillment is for each one us to be a light for one another too.

It is your duty and privilege to be part of this great company. With one hand reaching upwards to those upon the path ahead of you, and your other hand extended to those who follow, you are a precious spark in this never-ending story of Light and Love and Truth.

In this moment of stillness, when the whole world waits for a sign that the Light of the World will not go out, gather together and hold in your hearts the Great Invocation which will be shared throughout temples and hearts on Earth at this time:

THE GREAT INVOCATION

From the point of light within the Mind of God

Let Light stream forth into our minds

Let LIGHT descend on Earth.

From the point of love within the Heart of God

Let Love stream forth into our hearts

May LOVE increase on Earth.

From the center where the Will of God is known

Let purpose guide our wills

The PURPOSE which the masters know and serve.

From the center which we call Humanity

Let the Plan of Love and Light work out

And may it seal the door

where evil dwells.

Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth.

Jupiter Enters Capricorn (December 2, 2019 – December 19, 2020)

The Beautiful Necessity

It is quite comforting, inspirational and illuminating to enjoy the wisdom of the ages, found in the profound gifts of philosophy, science and religion, which have been passed down from time immemorial to guide our journey to this very day.

This last year, we enjoyed the dance of Jupiter as it sailed through its own sign of Sagittarius. You were reminded that one of the most important challenges that you will have on “our journey that is an awakening” is to consider how you can better understand yourself and your world.

It is necessary that we do this, for only if we continually lift our consciousness higher, only then will we be able to separate truth from falsehood, only then will we know what is the good and how we might do better. Only by this gift of the Wisdom-Keepers and our own efforts to understand will we turn away from the shadows and join with those who live in love and light.  

Jupiter, which has been moving through its own sign of Sagittarius since November of last year, enters the earthy sign of Capricorn today. The unfoldment of spiritual energy-forms, as revealed by the Signs of Zodiac, proceeds in this way so that after the ideals of any Fire sign we will move into the realms of reality-making held by Earth.

This is the message of Jupiter in Capricorn, and you would be wise to make this part of your practice now. It is not enough to believe in or to merely speak of truth. Your spiritual journey is not only of the mind or to be found in your heart. The noble path, the Way of all seekers and seers, is to follow the Way of Wisdom:

You are here to live by Light; You are here to become this Truth.

To build a world, to live a life, that is founded and formed by Living Truth is the only way for the promise of Light and Love to be made real for one and all. If Jupiter is the Way of Truth, and Capricorn the realm of Responsibility and Self-Fulfillment, then the message of Jupiter now is that to live by truth is the heart and soul of this entire Creation; and you are here to shoulder this responsibility. Your self-fulfillment is assured because you will realize that the truth within you is the same truth that surrounds you in all the realms and bodies that form the cosmos too.

And you will equally find that you are part of a great Hierarchy of Light and Love, formed by the smallest of infinitesimals on up to the great souls arching over the starry firmament above. And, most immediately, here on Earth, you should bow down and give thanks to those who came this way long before you. There is a celestial cord of Light-Love-Meaning that holds all of Creation as one, and being self-aware now, your duty is to join with those who care for you, as you must care for one another, and indeed take your place as a guardian for all of Creation too.

Their loving example, that these great souls and kindred spirits extended (and still maintain) this loving guidance and helping hand to you, will stir your heart and you will also turn and extend your help to those that follow you, for this is how “the great work” is done. The Love and Truth of the Creator lives on in all of us – it is all of us – and that is why we are forever guided and shaped by the one abiding truth that you and I, and the whole of Creation is this living Act of Love, formed and sustained by our Love for one and all. The one golden rule of Righteousness (of right conduct) is simply this:

We were made together as one by love; we are here to love and care for one another;
we are here to love and be loved as the fulfillment of Divine Eternal Love.

We embody this fundamental truth in the realm of forms that is Capricorn, by taking what was the first instance of this binding force for us, the instinctual and spontaneous love of a parent for their child, and we formed and nurtured our lives upon the foundation of our Family. We extended this love and meeting of one another’s needs out into our larger Community institutions of neighborhood, town, and region. We stretched our responses and responsibilities to one another into the largest of these Institutional embodiments of Caring Truths by establishing our governing bodies of local, state and national governance. The laws and norms of these agents and agencies, are simply but profoundly the universalized formations of our love and caring for one another.

And so now, in this present era, we have reached a critical moment in our journey of awakening. We have been able to look back upon our world from the firmament above, and in seeing our beautiful blue home in the dark vastness of Space, we understand that if we are to take care of one another and our beautiful home, we must extend our loving care to one another through an encompassing Earthly Awareness and Holistic Action which will seek to preserve, protect and promote the well-being for “all creatures, great and small”. It is our sacred duty to take good care of our lovely home and all of the life within it.

We are the Maker (or beaker) of our world now. Only by caring for our precious home, our dear mother Earth, will we shoulder our rightful responsibility for our human family by equally caring for the entire and wondrous hierarchy of life that live with us here too. Life begets life; the beauty made by the complex web and diversity of life is essential to our well-being too.

If you listen to your heart, you will know the Truth, and you will know that your responsibility is as much to one another as it is to all of life on Earth. We are part of one family; our home is Earth; and all these many lives are one in the One Life of Spirit.

This is the Beautiful Necessity, that behind all of Creation is Divine Love.

Your duty, your self-fulfillment is to stand for Life and to live by Love.

This is the embodiment of Jupiter's Truth now made manifest in the Realm of Reality, the Kingdom of Responsibility, in the Realm of Capricorn where Right Thinking, and Right Action lead to Beauty and Truth.

Jupiter in Capricorn is where Beauty as Truth is made real when each of us acts with Love and Understanding to create a Better World.
