In my seventh show of 2020, we will consider the Astrological patterns and current conditions in the chart of the United States of America. It was during Pluto’s previous passage through Capricorn in the 1700’s that the USA became a reality. We are now experiencing the challenge of Pluto; it is time for our spiritual re-birth and renewal.

I have been writing and speaking about the cycle of Pluto for many years, and I have written and talked about Pluto’s passage through Capricorn every 250 years, which is happening once again from 2008-2024. Each Pluto in Capricorn period signals the end of a world order, which is equally the emergence of a new institutional order in the hierarchy of social realms: spiritual, cultural, political and economic. What we are seeing across the globe today is not how it had to be; it is we and our way of life that has made the content and facts of what this challenge would look like. But it is most certainly true that this is our time to bring into being a New World, and what emerges will and must be different than the order we have had since the late 1700’s, not just here but for the entire world.

Saturn Enters Aquarius (March 21-22, 2020)

The Test of Responsibility, to the Test of Social Consciousness

The Lord of Reality is moving from Capricorn into Aquarius this year. Saturn will make the first transition on March 21-22, it will retrograde back into Capricorn on July 1, and re-enter Aquarius on December 17 where it will remain until March 2023.

For more than two years with Saturn in Capricorn, we were given the opportunity, by encountering various challenges, to understand how we must strive to improve the fulfillment of our responsibilities. It is by these “Hierarchies of Obligations” that we meet and fulfill one another’s needs which are rooted in the various positions we hold in our lives. Whether as a parent or child, as a teacher or student, as an employer or worker, we were being tested to reexamine our understanding and exercise of our roles and duties towards one another.

But for the next couple of years, you will face the next step in your spiritual evolution as held in the Sign of Aquarius. Whereas Capricorn concerns the fulfillment you achieve by maintaining the “World that Is”, (what your ancestors passed on to you), Saturn in Aquarius demands that you turn around; it shines a light upon the path so that you will consider what comes next, to imagine what your future will be, and most importantly and lovingly, to do this with careful and selfless regard as to what will you pass on to your children, and to their children, and for all who come after you.

Saturn in Aquarius reminds you that it is not enough to preserve and maintain what has been; Aquarius is about the future that you are making for you and for those who come after you. We humans are dreamers; we are the “Imagineers of Earth". We are here to constantly remake ourselves and our world. And now you must ask, what kind of world shall it be?

Your challenge will always be to lift your vision higher, and you must strive to be ever more conscious and considerate, as you make a better you. But Saturn in Aquarius will remind you of this: That what you dream, and what you will make, must be framed and formed by all with whom you journey, by the truth that you are part of a host of souls who must make a better world together, and so you will remake one another and your world in such a way that it is better for one another, and for all of life on Earth too.

We humans dream of fulfillment, to be happy and live a life that is good; and, Saturn in Aquarius will remind you that your fulfillment and your happiness can only become a reality when it is also makes possible the fulfillment and happiness for one and for all.

This is the challenge of Saturn in Aquarius; it is the test of your Social Consciousness. And it challenges you to overcome one of your greatest illusions, your experience of being separate and apart from one another. In truth, from the beginning of your journey, and through life after life, you are formed by all who accompany you. Your experiences, your thoughts, your love and your wisdom, they are all formed by the countless moments you have shared with one another. You are all mixed up in one another, you are all made of one another; and your happiness and your fulfillment are made with one another too.

Saturn in Aquarius calls on all of us now; we must consider what kind of future we wish to make, what will be the legacy that we will pass down to those who come after.

Our challenge is to choose wisely. We must cherish and protect one another, but we can only do this if we make this possible for all life on this beautiful planet. This is our responsibility now, for we made this world as it is, and we are reaping what we have sown.

If we wish for a better world, for us and for those who come after, we must do what we have always done. We must come together, we Imagineers of Earth, and be the seeds of a better world for many, many years to come.

The passage of Pluto in Capricorn every 250 years, and for us from 2008-2024, typically signals the last stage of a world order and the eventual emergence of a New World. The events over the past many weeks and months certainly fits that pattern.

Sun Enters Aries (March 19, 2020)

The Circle of the Living Ones, the Zodiac

You always need to remember: Where did we come from, and where are we going?

And to this, all the Teachers and Masters have replied: You are on a never-ending journey of Light and Love.

Today we mark the beginning of the Astrological Year. Having considered during Pisces the meanings and messages of the year just past, we turn our heads and look ahead to the far horizon of what is yet to be written in the Book of Life, the Story of Spirit. And, as always, we begin with the sign of the Spiritual Warrior, the Sign of Aries.

As I have noted since before 2008, the year when Pluto entered the sign of Capricorn, we are here to be those humans who witness the “end of age and the dawn of another”. The entire hierarchy of institutions by which we meet one another’s needs, ranging from the most fundamental and intimate in our families, on up through community, state and national structures are being tested again and again, and again.

Sometimes we will be surprised by their resilience and relevance; and sometimes we will witness their failure and obsolescence. The awareness we had, the actions we took, and the world that we made brought us to this moment of destiny. Yes, in so many ways this world that we made is like a fog that is giving way, and it is making way for the dawn of a new world that we must make now.  

It is our challenge to understand the world we made, its treasures and its failings. The way we met our needs and lived with one another brought us to here; but we can no longer live this way if care for one another and our dear planet too. We must accept the responsibility for what we have created, for much of this world is now human-shaped, for good and for ill. We are the “gods in the making”, but we are very, very imperfect embodiments of the one divine light.

We must come together, take sacred oaths and pledge our lives and fortunes to one another. We have only one choice now, and that is to take up the challenge of this moment; for it is your responsibility, duty and privilege to make a better world right now and for those who will follow.

Aries is the space for the beginning of all things; and in this time and wherever it is found in your chart, Aries is the Avatar of what is the most important truth that you must hold in your heart and mind: you only exist here. What was you cannot change; and what will be you cannot know; the only place you can redeem your past and make a better future is in this Spacetime we call the Eternal Now.

That is why the most important step you will ever take is the next one. And not just the actual step. Before you leap, you must look within, and you must look around you too. You must consider most carefully the truths that guide you, for these will shape and form your motivation or reason behind your next step. Yes, you must be clear: what is my intention, what is my purpose or goal, and then move forward with that decisively.

But equally you must perceive or apprehend, and ask yourself "what exactly what am I encountering here?" You must act with understanding and humility, by clearly considering what is needed from you. You must ask: What does this space, what does this existing condition need from me?

Then, once you understand, you must do your very best; to give what you can and let go of what you must.

This is the beginning, but there will be many beginnings and you will take many steps.

You must be present in each moment; you must be fully awake, alert, and ready to respond with what will make possible a better world for one and all.

You must be courageous, selfless and guided by love, for this is the way of spirit.

This is the message of Aries; this is the moment Now.

This is the Way of the Spiritual Warrior.
